NAK offers on-demand scheduled services for various industries and facilities across the continental United States. Projects vary in size depending upon our customers’ needs. NAK has the capabilities to supply and install new complete kilns, with several of these projects having been completed over the last 5 years. A majority of NAK’s work is performing annual outage work for facilities across the US.

Shell section replacement is a service frequently performed by our craftsmen. Our experienced field personnel are key to successful and efficient installations. Personnel are trained to follow industry and safety standards which plays a large role in our success. NAK’s foremen collectively contain decades of kiln experience and have a wealth of knowledge in rigging and lifts.
A damaged shell should not be run for an extended period of time. Continuing to operate a kiln with a damaged shell can result in excessive unscheduled downtime, increased refractory costs, and could lead to catastrophic failure of the shell and/or collateral damage to the surrounding equipment. NAK has the means to prevent and repair this issue.

Trunnion roller assemblies require frequent inspection and maintenance. NAK offers several different repair and replacement options to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Bearing and/or shaft failures are common issues that need to be monitored for on a regular basis. Catastrophic events can be avoided by opening the bearings once a year to inspect the condition of internals. NAK offers complete bearing Inspections to identify potential problems before they become severe. Repair options to address complications include trunnion roller resurfacing, trunnion roller re-shafts, onsite trunnion roller rebuilds, and lastly, trunnion roller replacement. NAK houses many different size rollers, bearings, and internals in our shop in the event of an unexpected replacement. Trunnion roller failure is an issue our team can quickly respond to in the case of an emergency.
NAK offers 24/7 emergency repairs and kiln preventative care services. A technical advisor can be on site in 24 hours or less in the case of an unexpected kiln failure. We understand the importance of getting equipment back up and keeping downtime to a minimum.
